I've read that Leica plans to introduce an R10 film camera also capable of exposing digital pictures. I sincerely hope this is fact, not fiction.

I would definitely buy a follow-on SLR to the R9. I am a relatively recent newcomer to Leica. I started out with a Leica Digilux 2 and fell in love with your quality lens. My Leica CM failed and couldn't be repaired (barely 2 yrs old!) and I have stuck with Leica. Then I bought a used R8 and then a used R6.2. I'm hooked, but I don't plan to go to an M-system because I have already invested in R-lenses. Kevin Willey |
