I invested heavily Leica with the release of the DMR. Though I already had a Leicaflex SL, 2 R3's, an R5, 2-R7's and 2 R8's along with most leica lenses from 21 to 560 Telyt... with the DMR's release I bought the 15, 28 Elmarit (2nd version), 35-70, 100 APO, pre modular 280 and 400 APO's, and the modular 400 2.8 and 800 5.6. I trusted Leica at it's word in 2007 and 2008 that there would be an R10 following the S2. Had I only known you'd turn your back on those who supported you with their hard earned money... I would have switched to Nikon.
Shameless!

I have tried my R lenses on Canon DALRs, and they simply do not look like my M8 files.
I know my R lenses are much better than they show on the Canon bodies.
My R lenses need a digital body with M8/9 type performance. |

I have loved using my R4 for 10 years, but have had to move to Nikon for a digital SLR. The S2 looks amazing, but way out of my budget. The M9 is tempting, but having owned an M3, I prefer an SLR. A full-frame digital R10 would be perfect. |
