I have been a Leica since my school days in the early 70s with a M3. I bought into the R system in 1983 and have used the R4, R6.2 and now the R8/DMR.
I was disappointed when Leica decided to drop the R system and the R10. There are many R users put there waiting patiently for the R10. |

Being the owner of 20 Leica-R lenses I want to be able to use this investment on a Leica full frame digital SLR. I really do not understand why the DMR could not be madean integral part of an R9 body. It certainly would not be significantly larger than the Canon 1DS mkIII. |
